MichinoekiNiseko View Plaza Introducing the "Michi No Eki - Niseko View Plaza"

The Niseko View Plaza, a road side rest area located at the intersection of Route 5 and the Iwanai Toya Line. It consist of an "Information Plaza Building", which sells special products and serves as a tourist information, a "Free Space Building", with light food takeout shops and farmers market. In the farmers market fresh agricultural products are soled directly from farmers in the Niseko area. There is even an area where you can wind information and pamphlets about local restaurants and events, the toilet is also located here. In the Information Plaza Building, there is a wide variety of product line-ups from dairy products such as Niseko-produced milk sweets and cheese to freshly baked bagels, stone kiln bread, as well as local sake and wine! Under the motto of “safe, secure and inexpensive”, the farmers market offers fresh and rare seasonal vegetables that were just picked in the morning for reasonable prices. The takeout shop are very particular about using only Niseko-produced ingredients! Eating while watching Mt. Yotei at our "View Plaza" is an exceptional gourmet experience you shouldn't miss out on!

[Special Regional Products Sales]

The vegetables line up in the farmers market are all regional and freshly harvested in the morning.
In the spring seedlings of, carrots, the popular asparagus and many other vegetables start to grow beneath the snow. From summer to autumn various vegetables are filling up every space in our market. Regional favourites like melons and potatoes are even sold in special tents outside of the free space at the time of their season!
Niseko's freshly harvested rice is available each year around October, and we offer a variety of Hokkaido's most famous rice varieties such as "Yume-Purika" and "Nanatsuboshi" and "Oborozuki".
Come and take shopping stroll through our wide variety of local vegetables, sweets, processed foods!

Niseko's farmers market is a market operated completely by Niseko's farmers. Here you can not just find fresh vegetables produced our Niseko farmers, but also wild vegetables collected from the mountains of Niseko. The special taste of our seasonal products is something you shouldn't miss out on!

Milk Kobo's products get the best out of their ingredients and are simply delicious! In order to produce safe delicious natural products we strictly avoid additives when ever possible. We sell soft ice cream and cheese tarts in our View Plaza shop.

Handmade sausage made from Hokkaido pork without preservatives or synthetic colouring. Our shop offers the best quality ""Eff "" sausages in different varieties such as hot dogs, grilled sausages and much more. We also offer special sausages that are not sale at our Cafe, so don't miss out on them!

[Omichi Farm]

Here you can get the all so popular Omichi croquettes. They have a gentle taste and are made solely with Omichi farm potatoes! Homemade Kintsuba full of Hokkaido red beans makes up for a perfect souvenir.

Enjoy soups and desserts using fresh vegetables and fruits, alll grown on the Niseko Town Tada Farm . You can feel the original sweetness of vegetables and fruits with a simple flavor that gets the best out of their ingredients.

“Jumbo Mitarashi Dango” and “Niseko Meisui Warabi Mochi” by Teppanyaki No Hibi. Our Hand-made mochis are so soft, they will almost melt in your mouth! Perfect as a souvenir, too!

The long corridor has vending machines and toilets available 24 hours a day, making it easy to drop in between drives. Beyond that, local event information and activities, restaurants, accommodation brochures, etc. are lined up and are free to be taken.

Videos introducing the Niseko sightseeing area, event information, information about flowers and autumn leaves, as well as the latest weather forecast and road traffic information are projected here one after another.
